About Mike
Mike has devoted himself as a Certified EOS Implementer™ since 2012. In that time, he has delivered over 500 Full Day Sessions with Entrepreneurial leadership Teams and helped more than 60 Michigan companies transform their businesses. He especially loves helping family businesses. For several years, Mike coached several dozen EOS Implementers on their journey of building their businesses.
Mike and his wife, Jill, are the founders of the Purposeful Family Manager, which applies EOS concepts to entrepreneurial families. They have four children and live in Southeast Michigan.
“Bringing Mike in as an objective third party made accountability at our company a lot easier. Now, quarter over quarter, we’re seeing traction and we’re seeing growth at a greater rate than ever before. Mike doesn’t give us the answers, but he forces us to think through it and solve it on our own—which has proven to be very beneficial.” Ben Rife, CEO of Troy, MI-based INVOIP
“Mike has been a spirited implementer of the EOS process. His mentorship has immensely benefited PEA and resulted in defined processes for solving issues, increased accountability, improved internal communication and increased goal achievement.” Dave Hunter, Partner and Integrator, Professional Engineering Associates (PEA)
Why Mike Kotsis?
I believe that a well-run organization has the ability to impact your life in such a positive way that in turn you will impact the lives of your employees, clients and even your own families. This is what drives me, and this is why I help companies—to make the most positive and lasting change throughout your company. I’m particularly known for three things:
1) Methodical Style
You’ll get a methodical adviser who never takes shortcuts, but always keeps your long-term interests in mind. Through a calm, thorough and analytical approach, your team is kept at ease and grounded, even during the most difficult conversations.
2) Proven Entrepreneur
I successfully led my third-generation family business through the worst of Michigan’s economic downturn, seeing over 60% growth in that time. That experience helps me to serve teams through transformation to become their best. I teach, facilitate and coach, drawing out the solutions from your team rather than spoon-feeding the answers.
3) Holistic Approach
For me, EOS isn’t a job, it’s who I am—not only do I use the EOS Tools in my own business, but in my family life as well. I’m passionate about the way that EOS transforms businesses and personal lives, so I take a holistic approach with clients. A well-run organization has a tremendous impact on the lives of its leaders, employees and even their families. I’ll help you to integrate your business goals under the context of what you want out of your whole life.
